Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Produce balance sheet reconciliations and maintain a strong control environment.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
- Deliver insightful financial analysis and commentary to support performance.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities and provide recommendations.
- Support finance transformation initiatives and drive process improvements.
- Build relationships with finance and operational stakeholders across the business.
- Key requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or equivalent experience
- Significant experience in financial reporting and financial control
- Strong knowledge of management accounting, forecasting and balance sheet management
- Experience in a complex or multi-entity organisation
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to challenge processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Clear communication of financial information to finance and non-finance colleagues
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools (advantageous)
