We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Administration Assistant to join our busy and fast-paced office in Grangemouth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to develop their career within a supportive office environment.
Location: Grangemouth (office based, Monday - Friday)
Contract: 9 months maternity cover
About the role
As an Administration Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the office and assisting both the administration and recruitment teams. This role would suit someone who is organised, professional, eager to learn, and confident communicating with a variety of people. You will be working within a busy office environment where no two days are the same, gaining experience across a wide range of administrative duties while developing your organisation and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing day-to-day support to the Administration Team Lead
- Handling incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries appropriately
- Assisting contractors with queries relating to timesheets, contracts, holidays and general admin matters
- Supporting the recruitment team with administrative tasks and documentation
- Greeting and welcoming visitors and guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Using a variety of internal systems to generate reports, update records, and produce documentation
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring information is processed efficiently
- Assisting with general office administration duties as required
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience within an administrative role would be highly advantageous
- Previous call handling or customer service experience is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- A positive attitude with willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Ability to work effectively within a busy office environment and manage a varied workload
- Confident using computer systems and Microsoft Office applications
