This is a varied and fast-paced role at the centre of our organisation. You’ll be the first point of contact for visitors and colleagues, ensuring a professional, friendly, and efficient front-of-house experience — while keeping our office running smoothly behind the scenes.

Your responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities

  • Visitor Management
  • Greet and sign in visitors, issue badges, and ensure they feel welcome from the moment they arrive.
  • Maintain a tidy, professional reception area that meets Health & Safety standards.
  • Manage meeting room bookings, refreshments, and parking arrangements.
  • Communication & Coordination
    • Handle calls and emails promptly, directing enquiries efficiently.
    • Coordinate post, couriers, and travel bookings.
  • Document & Record Management
    • Keep electronic records organised and accurate through scanning and filing.
  • Facilities & Staff Support
    • Assist with staff inductions, car park management, and CCTV monitoring.
    • Support the Facilities Manager with ad hoc administrative tasks.
  • Catering & Event Support
    • Provide and coordinate refreshments and catering for internal and executive meetings, ensuring impeccable presentation and service.

    What You’ll Bring

    • GCSEs (or equivalent) including English & Maths; admin qualifications (NVQ/OCR) are a plus.
    • Proven experience in a busy administrative or reception role.
    • Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal.
    • Strong organisational ability and a sharp eye for detail.
    • Confidence under pressure and a calm, professional manner.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office systems.
