What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Producing accurate balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining a strong financial control environment.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
- Delivering insightful financial analysis and commentary to support business performance.
- Liaising with internal and external auditors.
- Identifying financial risks and opportunities and providing recommendations.
- Supporting finance transformation initiatives and driving continuous process improvements.
- Building strong relationships with finance and operational stakeholders across the business.
What we’re looking for:
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), or equivalent experience.
- Significant experience in financial reporting and financial control.
- Strong knowledge of management accounting, forecasting and balance sheet management.
- Experience working within a complex or multi-entity organisation.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- The confidence to challenge processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- The ability to communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance colleagues.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools would be advantageous.
