Key Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly management accounts process, ensuring accurate, timely and insightful financial reporting.
- Take ownership of the balance sheet, profit and loss account, KPIs and management information.
- Produce meaningful financial reports that support operational and strategic decision making.
- Partner with senior operational leaders to provide commercial challenge, financial insight and performance analysis.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting and business planning processes across the business.
- Take full financial ownership of a portfolio of construction and infrastructure projects.
- Monitor project performance, including revenue, costs, margins, work in progress and cash flow.
- Review project forecasts, Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) and financial assumptions.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities across projects.
- Support working capital management.
- Lead, coach and develop a small finance team.
- Maintain strong financial controls and compliance.
- Drive process improvements.
- Candidate Profile
- ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified.
- 3+ years' PQE in construction, engineering or infrastructure.
- Strong management and project accounting experience.
- Experience with WIP, CVRs and revenue recognition.
- Previous team leadership experience.
- Strong Excel skills and Sage 50 or similar.
