Facilities Coordinator – Leicester (12-13 Month Contract)
Location: Leicester Water Centre – Office based, Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £12.99 per hour (£25,000 pro rata)
Contract Length: 12-13 months (with possible permanent opportunities)

Morson Talent are proud to be partnering with Severn Trent to recruit a Facilities Coordinator (internally known as a Service Delivery Assistant) to join their Facilities Management team based at the Leicester Water Centre. This is an excellent opportunity to join a welcoming, supportive team and gain valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced facilities role.
What you\’ll be doing
This varied and active role will see you supporting the day-to-day running of the site, carrying out essential checks and coordinating with contractors to ensure the workplace remains safe, compliant, and well-maintained. Key duties include:

  • Conducting FM site checks (fire safety, lighting, water flushing, etc.)
  • Supporting health and safety compliance activities
  • Managing and monitoring contractors and suppliers
  • Raising ad hoc reactive maintenance requests
  • Completing light front-of-house duties (e.g. greeting visitors)
  • Ensuring facilities are maintained to a high standard

You\’ll receive on-the-job training and complete mandatory health and safety training, including:

  • IOSH Asbestos Awareness
  • Fire Incident Management
  • Managing Contractors and Suppliers

The team and culture
You\’ll join a supportive team of nine based on site in Leicester. One team member is progressing internally, and an apprentice is due to join in August – so you\’ll be part of a dynamic and developing environment, with the potential for long-term opportunities.
Who we\’re looking for
We\’re open to a range of backgrounds. We\’d especially love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience in facilities or property management (e.g. contractor management, compliance checks, planned preventative maintenance)
  • OR a background in front-of-house, reception, or administration with a keen interest in developing into a facilities-based role
  • A proactive, hands-on attitude and willingness to learn

Hours: 8:00am-4:00pm Monday to Thursday, 8:00am-3:30pm Friday
