Overview
In this role you will design and deliver electrical building services for high-profile infrastructure projects across the UK.
You will work within the Built Environment Advisory team to ensure compliant, safe and innovative electrical solutions that meet client and industry standards.
You will collaborate with engineers, project managers and clients to drive project delivery, risk management and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
- Produce electrical building services designs aligned with client requirements and standards
- Prepare calculations, drawings, specifications, reports and technical documentation
- Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarms and security systems
- Support project delivery across Defence, Mo J, Education, Transport and Rail sectors
- Coordinate design information with other engineering disciplines for integrated delivery
- Undertake site surveys, inspections and technical assessments
- Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers and stakeholders throughout delivery
- Identify and manage engineering risks with health, safety and CDM compliance
- Support delivery to meet quality, programme and budget objectives
- Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation and best practice within the team
- Key requirements
- Experience as an Electrical Building Services Engineer or similar role
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and building services design
- Experience designing lighting, power and associated infrastructure
- Ability to produce technical documentation, calculations and specifications
- Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Strong communication skills with clients and stakeholders
- Commercial awareness and understanding of project delivery requirements
