Morson are proud to be recruiting on behalf of BAE Systems for Production Operatives to play a crucial role in various areas on the shop floor at their Glascoed site. This position involves operating a diverse array of equipment, from machinery to mobile work tools, and involves manual handling in alignment with set Standard Operating Procedures, quality standards, and comprehensive risk assessments. The role is focussed specifically on following the Manufacturing instructions & following the guidance of the Cell Leader.
Role Responsibilities
- Follow site safety procedures and wear necessary protective gear
- Engage in audits and discussions to maintain a safe work environment in line with regulations
- Ensure work meets quality standards set for the process
- Accurately document work-related data to enhance process improvement
- Manage inventory effectively to minimise waste and handle rejected materials
- Conduct regular checks to maintain accurate stock records
- Be adaptable to shift between tasks or areas based on business needs
- Coordinate work timings and actively engage in meetings to foster effective communication among team members
- Report to the Cell Leader

- Standard shift (07:30-16:30) - £17.41p/hr PAYE
- Two-Shift (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00 swap weekly) - £21.41p/hr PAYE
- Three-Shift (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00 / 22:00-06:00 swap weekly) - £21.77p/hr PAYE
