What you’ll be doing:

  • Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Producing accurate balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining a strong financial control environment.
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
  • Delivering insightful financial analysis and commentary to support business performance.
  • Liaising with internal and external auditors.
  • Identifying financial risks and opportunities and providing recommendations.

What we’re looking for:

  • A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience in financial reporting and financial control.
  • Strong knowledge of management accounting, forecasting and balance sheet management.
  • Experience working within a complex or multi-entity organisation.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • The confidence to challenge processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • The ability to communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance colleagues.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools would be advantageous.
