As Senior Radiological Assessor at Urenco, you lead safety assessments to time and budget, acting as Design Authority Intelligent Customer for external work.
You shape and review Safety Case content, support Capenhurst site operations, and drive professional development.

- Deliver safety assessments to cost and schedule targets
- Act as Design Authority Intelligent Customer for external safety assessment delivery
- Maintain Safety Case Assessment & Management Procedures
- Provide Safety Case Support to the Capenhurst site
- Personal accountability for Continuing Professional Development
- Tactical Safety Advisor for emergency response scenarios
- Key requirements
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
- Experience as Radiological/Chemotoxic Safety Assessor or Nuclear Safety Assessor
- Competent Safety Assessor and Peer Reviewer
- Detailed knowledge of how specialist disciplines support Nuclear Safety Case
- Strong understanding of UK Regulatory Framework and expectations for safety assessments
- Experience across the Safety Case lifecycle and with other Licensees' Safety Cases
- Strong analytical thinking/problem solving
- Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies
