Overview
In this role you will lead pre-contract estimation for a range of civil engineering projects across rail, highways, aviation, and utilities. You will work within a fast-paced bid team to produce competitive tenders and support contract management, shaping proposals for large and framework projects. You will collaborate with supply chain and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate costings and robust tender submissions. This position offers hybrid working and exposure to high-impact infrastructure across the UK with a clear path to influence major capital delivery.

Responsibilities
- Control and administer tender documentation
- Manage tenders through to delivery
- Present tenders at tender review meetings
- Liaise with Supply Chain for supplier/subcontractor enquiries
- Technical and commercial appraisal of labour, plant, materials, and temporary works
- Take-offs from drawings and produce cost-effective tenders from first principles
- Prepare tender submissions documents
- Prepare estimating reports
- Support proposals and contract management functions
Key requirements
- Senior Estimator experience in multi-disciplinary civil engineering sectors (rail, highways, aviation, utilities, and/or power)
- First Principles Estimating experience
- Civil engineering project experience
