Overview
In this role you will deliver discipline-specific engineering services at Capenhurst to produce safe, cost-effective design solutions within the UUK Engineering & Projects team.
You will guide the project lifecycle from requirements capture through commissioning and handover, addressing issues and ensuring compliance with design procedures, codes, and nuclear site license requirements.

Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality engineering deliverables aligned with design procedures, codes, standards, and license requirements
- Create contractor specifications and manage contractor delivery
- Record and develop CPD for professional registration and SQEP
- Assess wider implications of changes across disciplines
- Conduct technical investigations as needed
- Perform commissioning activities when authorized to do so
- Key requirements
- Degree in relevant discipline-specific Engineering
- Associate member of a relevant engineering institute and pursuing chartered status
- Strong understanding of engineering design processes in a heavily regulated industry
- Completion of an engineering-based graduate scheme (3-4 years) or equivalent with demonstrable experience
