Based at our Capenhurst site you'll deliver capital project procurement activities for the Urenco Group with responsibility for the development of project specific procurement strategies and the execution of strategic sourcing to meet business partner requirements, maximizing value for Urenco. You will also contribute to the performance of Urenco capital procurement by setting standards and developing best practice policies and procedures for capital project procurement activities.We believe in embracing the passion and potential of our people, and to achieve this we offer market leading training and development experiences. What you'll do: Development and delivery of bespoke projects procurement strategies that meet project objectives. Select contracting methodologies and suppliers, executing contracts to deliver the objectives of major/complex capital investment projects. Providing project management of the end to end strategic sourcing process and coordination of multidisciplinary project teams. Provide appropriate challenge to the status quo setting new expectations for value delivery/service performance of suppliers.Set negotiation strategies and undertake commercial and contractual negotiations with suppliers. Liaise with stakeholders and legal to ensure favourable commercial terms which mitigate business risk and achieve best business results.Plan and undertake supplier relationship and contract management to ensure service of suppliers meets their contractual obligations, and the value expected from a contract is fully delivered throughout the lifecycle. Liaise with and provide full lifecycle support to Contract Managers and other project team stakeholders as required to ensure project success and supplier performance meets expectations.Degree (or equivalent) CIPS qualification (or equivalent)Previous Tactical Buying experienceExperience with NEC3/NEC4 contracts is desirable; however, full training will be provided for the successful candidate.Annual leave starting at 25 days, which increases by one day for every two years of service up to a maximum of 30 days.
