ScottishPower’s Drawing Office is expanding to meet growing business demands, and we are seeking Estates & Planning (Drawing Office) – Land & Planning Team to support these efforts.
About the Role
As a CAD Operator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing drawing solutions for Land Purchase/ Agreements. Reporting to the Estates/ Planning Discipline Lead, you will play an important role in delivering accurate, consistent drawing outputs that meet project, safety, and compliance requirements. This role will draw on your key skills in drawing creation, technical expertise within Land/ Planning, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of 2D Drawings for Land & Planning using Autocad:?Producing Mapping drawings for land consents/ purchases for OHL routes for the Land & Planning Team.
- Compliance:?Supporting adherence to health, safety, quality, and environmental standards within project deliverables.
- Workload Management:?Responsible for organising and progressing your allocated workload efficiently.
- Information Gathering:?Collecting relevant information to produce?accurate drawings.
What You’ll Bring
- In-depth understanding of drawing principles and health & safety requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.?
- Ability to?establish?effective working relationships with individuals, departments, and businesses.
- Produce drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, schedules, and details.
- Proficient in using Autodesk products, including but not restricted to AutoCAD 2022, Vault, ACC, ProjectWise and the MS Office suite.?
- Ensure all work met quality, accuracy, and project deadzones??
