Contract Business Analyst - Retail Digital Transformation
Contract Outside IR35 Hybrid/Remote Up to £500 per day
I’m currently working with a leading retail organisation embarking on a large-scale digital transformation and am looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join one of several Agile delivery teams. This is an opportunity to work on a high-profile programme, helping shape the delivery of innovative digital products and customer-facing platforms. You'll work closely with Product Managers, Scrum Masters, Engineering teams and business stakeholders to define requirements and ensure solutions deliver real business value.
What you’ll be doing:
- Working with business and technical stakeholders to elicit, analyse and document requirements.
- Translating business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria and functional requirements.
- Supporting Product Owners in backlog refinement and prioritisation.
- Facilitating workshops and stakeholder meetings across multiple business functions.
- Mapping current and future state processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborating with development and QA teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Supporting UAT planning and ensuring delivered solutions meet business expectations.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Agile software delivery environments.
- Strong requirements gathering, process mapping and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience writing high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams.
- Experience working on enterprise-scale digital transformation programmes.
- Previous experience within retail, eCommerce or customer-facing digital products would be highly desirable.
Contract Details:
- Competitive day rate up to £500 per day.
- Outside IR35.
- Hybrid working (2-3 days per week).
