Overview
In this role you will lead the end-to-end work winning process for a Tier 1 contractor, guiding opportunities from early BD and capture planning through to procurement and post-tender activities. You will build and manage relationships with clients, consultants and the supply chain, and coordinate bid programs and governance. You will shape winning strategies, develop budgets, and drive improvements in bid processes. This is a high-impact, cross-sector role with a focus on delivering best-in-class bids and supporting national bidding activities.

Responsibilities
- Lead work winning across focused sectors and key clients
- Manage the complete bid lifecycle from BD to post-tender requirements
- Develop and maintain bid programs with identified tasks and resources
- Develop bid budgets and monitor spend during the process
- Governance management at corporate and functional levels
- Prepare qualitative bid responses when required
- Oversee qualitative bid reviews and participate in reviews
- Maintain CRM with bid data and support improvements across the bid function
Key requirements
- Experienced Work Winning/Bid Manager with private sector bidding experience
- Strong collaboration, adaptability and responsiveness
- Experience managing bid governance
- Proven ability to lead bid teams to high-quality, timely outputs
- Degree level qualification in Built Environment (preferred)
- Capability to coach, mentor and lead diverse teams
- Effective people management, leadership and negotiation skills
