Morson are working with a leading aerospace manufacturer who have an exciting opportunity within the Supply Chain operations organisation for the position of a Supply Chain Coordinator based at Belfast.

Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out Inspection, Quality Control and Quality Assurance Functions.
  • Ensuring product compliance with design specification, customer and approving authority requirements and regulations.
  • Providing instruction and advice to operators as and when required.
  • Monitoring the Delegated Operator Scheme.
  • Working flexibly in groups.
  • Writing technical reports to highlight drawing, process and tooling anomalies to instigate investigation and corrective action.

Skill Set:

Essential:

  • Applicants must have completed a recognised electrical or mechanical apprenticeship and have a minimum of 2 years' relevant post apprenticeship experience in an electrical aerospace environment or a manufacturing/assembly or tooling environment.
  • Candidates must be familiar with quality control requirements.
  • The ability to interpret drawings and specifications, and to communicate effectively is essential.
  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate a knowledge of Company manufacturing and assembly practices, requirements and standards.

Desirable:

  • An ONC/ A levels or equivalent qualifications is desirable.
  • A knowledge of 3D metrology would be desirable.
