Job Description

Recruitment Coordinator£18 per hour PAYE12 Months37.5 per week Oxford Inside IR35We are seeking an organised Recruitment Coordinator to support candidate onboarding and pre-employment screening activity within a secure, regulated environment.

The role will focus heavily on verifying candidate documentation, including educational history, technical qualifications, apprenticeships and specialist licences.

You will ensure all information is complete, accurate and suitable for the relevant screening and security-clearance processes.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate candidate pre-employment screening and onboarding activity.

Verify educational history, professional qualifications and technical certifications.

Review specialist documentation such as engineering indentures, technical apprenticeships and operational licences or ratings.

Ensure candidate records and supporting evidence are accurate and complete.

Identify missing or inconsistent documentation and work with candidates to resolve any issues.

Support checks relating to DBS, BPSS and security-clearance requirements.

Liaise with candidates, recruiters, hiring teams and screening stakeholders.

Monitor progress and provide clear updates on outstanding checks.

Maintain accurate recruitment and compliance records.

Manage multiple candidates and screening cases against agreed deadlines.

Required

Skills & Experience: Previous experience within recruitment coordination, recruitment administration, onboarding, vetting or pre-employment screening.

Experience verifying qualifications, certifications, licences or employment documentation.

Understanding of UK pre-employment screening requirements.

Knowledge of DBS, BPSS or security-clearance processes would be highly beneficial.

Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills. Confident communicating with candidates and internal stakeholders.

Able to manage a varied workload and prioritise time-sensitive activity.

Experience is valued more highly than formal qualifications.

Applicants will need to complete BPSS screening and be eligible to obtain Security Clearance.
