Morson is partnering with a leading aerospace manufacturer seeking a Production Scheduler to join the team at the Broughton site.

The Production Planning team ensures that Broughton has the capacity and capability to meet wing production requirements in line with aircraft commercial delivery schedules.

This department plays a vital role in providing Senior Management with accurate data to support strategic and tactical decision-making.

Key

Responsibilities: Developing and maintaining the mid to long-term Master Production Schedule (MPS) for all products at the Broughton plant.

Updating tactical build plans to optimise short-term production efficiency.

Calculating resource requirements to ensure alignment between workload and workforce.

Monitoring adherence to the build plan, ensuring it remains achievable and realistic.

Role

Overview: Managing Master Production Scheduling (MPS).

Overseeing tactical planning and work package monitoring.

Conducting capacity and resource calculations.

Agreeing on planning assumptions.

Refining and optimising production build plans.

Implementing recovery planning as required.

Performing scenario analysis to support decision-making.

Compiling key performance indicators (KPIs) for reporting and business monitoring.

Essential Skills and

Qualifications: Proven experience in Production Scheduling.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
