ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a Production Operator to join Cargill's Refining team on a 7-month fixed term contract at our Worksop site.
Working as part of the manufacturing team, you will be responsible for operating the refining process to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Youll monitor production equipment, carry out routine process checks, complete production records accurately and ensure all products meet specification.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a food manufacturing environment who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in producing high-quality products.
Shift Pattern This role operates on a 4-shift rota, working 2 weekends out of every 5.
- Monday to Friday: 6:00am - 2:00pm
- Monday to Friday: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
- Monday to Friday: 10:00pm - 6:00am
- Weekend shift: Saturday 6:00am - 6:00pm and Sunday 6:00pm - 6:00am
- Weekend shifts total 24 hours but are paid as a full week. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Operate pre-refiners and refiners, ensuring all refining specifications are achieved.
- Monitor and control the refining process while following standard operating procedures.
- Complete process parameter records accurately and in a timely manner.
- Carry out routine process checks and record results to ensure compliance with quality, food safety and environmental standards.
- Make manual ingredient additions in line with recipe specifications.
- Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process and ensure finished products meet specification.
- Follow recipes accurately to achieve the required flavour, texture and product consistency.
- Operate and monitor up to three machines simultaneously.
- Complete production documentation accurately.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping by following a clean-as-you-go approach.
- Ensure Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards are maintained at all times.
- Participate in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) and Food Safety activities, including audits and behavioural safety programmes.
- Report any health & safety, food safety or maintenance concerns promptly.
- Comply with all EHS, hygiene, food safety and allergen procedures
