We are seeking an experienced Senior Workday HCM Analyst to support and enhance a Workday platform, with a strong focus on Recruiting and Reporting. This is a hands-on role within a BAU environment, responsible for delivering system improvements, maintaining live services, and contributing to ongoing transformation initiatives. You will play a key role in ensuring the platform is optimised to meet both operational and strategic business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver enhancements across Workday HCM, including configuration, reporting, business processes, and data loads.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in Workday Recruiting (requisitions, candidate workflows, offer management).
  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to support HR and recruitment insights.
  • Gather and translate business requirements into effective system solutions and technical designs.
  • Lead stakeholder workshops and collaborate across HR, IT, and external partners.
  • Manage and prioritise BAU support tickets, enhancements, and system changes.
  • Support Workday bi-annual releases, including impact assessments and feature enablement.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, security, and GDPR standards.
  • Monitor and maintain Workday security configurations.
  • Drive continuous improvement and business process optimisation.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to internal stakeholders.
  • Support business cases and documentation for system changes and enhancements.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years' Workday experience.
  • Strong expertise in Workday HCM, including Recruiting and Reporting.
  • Experience in at least one additional area: Integrations or Security.
  • Proven experience configuring Workday Recruiting end-to-end.
  • Strong reporting and analytics capability (workforce and recruitment metrics).
  • Experience building and maintaining Workday reports and dashboards.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end HR and talent acquisition processes.
  • Experience optimising business processes and improving user experience.
  • Experience supporting BAU operations, releases, and system changes.
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail in regulated environments.

Desirable Skills

  • Workday Prism Analytics experience.
  • Knowledge of additional Workday modules (Compensation, Absence, Benefits, Payroll, Finance).
  • Experience with Workday integrations (e.g. job boards, background checks).
  • Experience in public sector or complex organisations.
  • Consulting or advisory background.
