Morson Edge is working with a well-established landscape architecture practice to recruit an experienced Landscape Architect to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a design-led professional with strong technical capability to work on a varied portfolio of landscape design projects from concept through to delivery.
The role will suit someone with a minimum of three years' experience in practice who enjoys managing projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and delivering high-quality landscape solutions.
The Role
You will be involved across all stages of landscape projects, taking responsibility for design development, technical detailing, and site delivery. The position offers exposure to both hard and soft landscape schemes and close collaboration with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative and practical landscape design solutions aligned with client and project requirements.
- Prepare detailed tender and construction drawing packages and specifications.
- Manage projects from inception through to completion, ensuring quality, programme, and budget control.
- Undertake site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design intent.
- Liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and the wider consultant team.
About You
- Degree-qualified in Landscape Architecture and a member of the Landscape Institute.
- Minimum 3 years' experience working in a UK-based landscape architecture practice.
- Strong technical ability, including the production of detailed construction drawings.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite; Revit experience advantageous.
- Good plant knowledge and experience preparing planting schemes.
- Confident communicator with strong written and verbal English skills.
- Able to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
Desirable Experience
- Landscape planning experience, including LVAs/LVIAs.
- Understanding of UK planning policy and environmental legislation.
- Experience with SketchUp, GIS, or other 3D/visualisation software.
