Morson Edge are currently seeking a HSE Manager on a contracting basis for our Aerospace client to be based in Sola, Norway.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Health, Safety & Environmental Manager:

  • Managing all HSE functions pertaining to LUKL NUF activities in Norway.
  • Planning, organising and facilitating all the clients HSE training in support of the LUKL NUF contracted activities.
  • LUKL NUF Risk Assessor.
  • LUKL NUF Radiation Protection Representative.
  • Appointed as the LUKL NUF Health, Safety and Environmental Manager (HSE) responsible for:
    • Implementation and continued development of Safety Management Systems that encompass commonality throughout the client (UK) for LUKL NUF contracted tasks in Norway.
    • All HSE functions specified in the Norwegian All-Weather Search and Rescue Helicopter (NAWSARH) Operating Procedures Manual (OPM) and any Maintenance & Service Operating Procedure (SOP).
    • Ensuring that activities are undertaken in accordance with the requirements set out in the clients UK Health, Safety and Environmental Operating Manual (HSEOM) and HSE Management System Manual (HSEMSM), which identify the key responsibilities under the Environmental Protection Act 1990, the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 and associated statutory regulations.

KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Analysis of information from the internal reporting system and presentation of this information at Management Meetings to drive safety initiatives.
  • Review and co-ordinate the release of information to Management and staff on Maintenance Event and Safety related matters.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all HSE measures meet statutory requirements as well as Company and Authority requirements ensuring ISO 45001 compliance.
  • Maintain the WA4570 HSMS Compliance Matrix to manage the deltas between LUKL NUF and the Customers requirements.
  • Advising the management team of any risks or conflicting requirements.
  • Control and implement HSE Risk Assessment programmes including the co-ordination of measures to minimise identified risks.
  • Ensuring that mandated HE Audits on LUKL NUF are conducted as directed by the clients HSE Department, compiling and distributing the clients HSE Objectives and Departmental Safety Plan.
  • Report all accidents and incidents on the clients SPHERA system and ensure that any investigations are conducted as required.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all internal HE Audits are conducted.
