We are recruiting an experienced Solar PV Electrician in the Leeds Area.
The Role:
- Installation and commissioning of solar PV inverters and battery storage systems
- Carrying out service, maintenance, and inspection works on existing systems
- Installation of AC supplies, containment, and cable runs
- Fault finding, testing, and troubleshooting of PV and battery systems
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with industry best practice and system specifications
- Provide technical support to internal teams and back-office staff
- Maintain full compliance with health & safety procedures and risk assessments
- Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs
Requirements:
- Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- 18th Edition (BS 7671)
- Test & Inspection Certificate (2391 or equivalent)
- Valid CSCS or ECS card
- Minimum 2 years' experience in solar PV and/or battery storage systems
- Strong understanding of electrical installations and testing procedures
- Ability to clearly explain technical issues to customers in a professional manner
- Ability to work at heights and outdoors in varying conditions
- Strong computer literacy
- Ability to use technology remotely
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel
