Salary: £70,000 to £85,000 pa (DOE) & Bonus, Excellent Benefits incl £7k car allowance
Morson are recruiting for a leading UK & Ireland organisation to appoint a Treasury Manager.
This is a senior role within the Financial Services function, reporting to the Financial Services Director. You will lead the back-office Treasury, Cash and Banking function across the UK&I Division, with responsibility for cash management, liquidity planning, banking relationships, treasury governance and continuous improvement.
Key Accountabilities of the Treasury Manager:
- Lead and manage the Treasury, Cash and Banking function across the UK&I Division (c5-12 direct reports).
- Lead, coach and develop the team, with responsibility for resource and capacity planning.
- Oversee cash management, cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning and working capital.
- Ensure accurate, timely and consistent treasury and cash reporting across the Division.
- Manage banking relationships and act as the primary contact for banking partners.
- Drive improvements across treasury reporting, controls, governance and compliance.
- Review consolidated figures and provide trends and management reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Identify process bottlenecks and lead improvements to resolve root causes.
- Drive standardisation and consistent processes across the Treasury function.
- Support audits and ensure accurate and complete documentation.
- Lead and participate in working groups focused on improving end-to-end processes and systems.
- Act as a Centre of Excellence for treasury processes and systems.
Essential:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- Proven experience across cash management, treasury operations and liquidity planning.
- Strong understanding of financial controls, governance, risk and compliance.
- Experience of working capital management and improving financial performance.
- Proven experience managing and developing finance teams.
- Strong resource and capacity planning experience.
- Confident using data and analytics to support financial and commercial decision-making.
- Strong systems and digital capability, with experience improving finance processes through technology.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong commercial judgement, decision-making and continuous improvement mindset.
Desirable:
- Experience working with a large ERP system.
- SAP or COINS experience would be advantageous.
- Experience managing banking relationships.
- Experience leading treasury transformation, process improvement or digitisation.
- Experience working across multiple business units or locations.
