We are seeking an experienced Service Support Engineer to join a busy and high-profile environment supporting security systems across a major airport site. This is a hands-on role involving the installation, maintenance, and support of CCTV, ANPR, and associated security technologies, both on-site and remotely. You will play a key role in ensuring critical systems remain fully operational and compliant with service level agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support for CCTV, ANPR, and security systems
- Carry out fault finding, maintenance, and repairs on hardware and software
- Install and configure CCTV cameras, ANPR systems, and related equipment
- Support system applications such as Genetec and similar platforms
- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance across site
- Produce clear service reports and maintain documentation
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and site stakeholders
- Participate in an on-call rota (24/7 shared)
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety procedures
Requirements
Essential:
- Proven experience working with CCTV and ANPR systems
- Strong background in installation and service support
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical faults
- Experience working in a field service or support engineering role
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Desirable:
- Experience with Genetec or similar CCTV VMS systems
- Knowledge of networking, LAN, or IT systems
- Experience with structured cabling or fibre
- Background in airports or high-security environments
