Morson Edge are working with a well known contractor who are seeking a freelance Quantity Surveyor to join their Energy division.
Role - Quantity Surveyor Ideal start date - 03/08/2026 End date - 29/01/2027 Rate - Around £450pd (negotiable for right candidate) INSIDE IR35 - Via Umbrella.
Location - Waltham Cross The role Support the preparation of reports, claims, and commercial documentation within agreed timescales while maintaining strong relationships with Business Unit and Project Managers Monitor project risks, maintain risk registers, and ensure effective subcontractor and supplier management, including quotations, valuations, variations, claims, and final accounts Assist in managing compensation events, contract costs, and project profitability through identification of variations, delays, and claims Contribute to financial reporting, forecasting, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy Attend project meetings, develop commercial records and manuals, and work closely with commercial and project teams Ensure compliance with company procedures and Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies, undertaking additional duties as required to support business and customer needs.
