We are seeking a Regional Design Team Manager to lead our internal design resources and ensure high-quality outputs, primarily on water-based infrastructure and projects. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, oversee technical governance, and drive continuous improvement in design delivery. From pre-contract mobilisation to project completion, you will ensure designs meet client expectations, regulatory standards, and programme requirements. This role combines leadership, stakeholder engagement, and strategic input—making it ideal for someone who enjoys balancing technical detail with big-picture thinking.
Please note that this role is a hybrid role where you will be expected to attend the office 2-3 times a week. The contractual office base is flexible and can be at Ilkeston. This can be discussed further at interview.
What We Are Looking For:

- Proven experience in design leadership within water or wastewater sectors (ESSENTIAL).

- Degree in Engineering or Design Management; Chartered Engineer status (or working towards).
- Experience with BIM and digital design tools; project management certification desirable.
