We're seeking an experienced Transmission Engineer to support the delivery, testing, commissioning and maintenance of critical telecommunications and transmission networks within a major infrastructure environment.
Key Experience Required
- Fibre optic testing, fault finding and commissioning
- DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing) systems
- Legacy transmission technologies including SDH, PDH and ATM
- Telecommunications and transmission network infrastructure
- Installation, testing and commissioning of telecoms systems
Desirable Experience
- IP-MPLS networks
- CCTV or video transmission systems
- Rail, transport, utilities, defence or other critical infrastructure environments
