The business is a European market leader in high-precision tool holders for the metalworking industry and a global leader in tool shrinking, balancing, and presetting technologies. With approximately 800 employees worldwide, the company is known for its commitment to quality, precision, and outstanding customer service.
The Role
We are currently recruiting a Technical Salesman to cover Scotland, with additional travel across England. This home-based position offers significant responsibility and strong earning potential. Your primary responsibility will be selling technically complex, advice-intensive products to a portfolio of high-end customers. You will act as a trusted technical partner, supporting customers throughout the sales and implementation process.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales of high-precision tooling solutions to qualified industrial customers
- Providing technical advice and customer support via phone and email
- Conducting customer visits, product demonstrations, and exhibitions
- Installing machines and delivering customer training on-site
- Managing and developing an independent sales territory with high turnover potential
- Building long-term customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities
After an initial structured training period supported by experienced colleagues, you will take full responsibility for your territory.
Your Profile
- Completed technical education, ideally with further qualifications in engineering
- Strong technical knowledge with a focus on tool clamping and milling technologies
- Proven experience and success in technical or industrial sales
- Able to work independently with an entrepreneurial, customer-focused mindset
- Confident, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English; German language skills are an advantage
