Our client, an Aggregates provider within the Construction sector, is looking for a Storesperson in the Loughborough area to work in a Quarry setting. This is a contract position expected to last for a minimum of 3 months, with the possibility of an extension or longer-term/temp to permanent work.
This role supports the smooth operation of the Stores on the Quarry, including:
- Monitoring stock, materials, and plant (in and out)
- Helping to monitor and update ledgers for essential stock
- Operating a forklift truck
- Managing large deliveries on site
- Raising purchase order numbers for new stock as required
The Storesperson will be expected to be a team player with a flexible approach to work, dealing with multiple people on site, both internal and external contacts. Applicable candidates will be able to prioritise their own tasks effectively to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, supporting the Stores Team and meeting the needs of the wider team across the site.
