As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will maintain the engineering configuration, ensuring the overall design intent and integrity is maintained throughout the design lifecycle. This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based in Stoke Gifford, Bristol. This role provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
Day-to-day, you will promote effective co-operation across Engineering and other functional teams. Ensure procedures, codes and standards are correctly identified and applied to engineering and technical activities. Ensure task and project risks are communicated and managed appropriately.
Essential experience of the Principal Mechanical Engineer:
- You are someone who owns and delivers, who champions high performance and is courageous to challenge the status quo.
- Knowledge of CAD tools and General Engineering Drawing Practice.
- Nuclear experience is not a necessity; we welcome applications from all engineering backgrounds.
Qualifications for the Principal Mechanical Engineer:
- Minimum HNC/HND in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance for this role.
