Morson Edge are working with a tier 1 contractor who are seeking a HSE Manager to join their Civil Engineering division.
Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire
Salary: £50k to £70k + Benefits (Depending on experience)

Essential experience needed:
- NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent as a minimum, but ideally IOSH
- CEnv or equivalent as a minimum, but ideally associate ISEP (Institute of Sustainability & Environmental Practices)
- Extensive HSE experience within a civil engineering environment; experience in the rail sector would be beneficial but not essential
- Analytical skills to interpret detailed information and regulations
- High standard of written English
- Good communication skills, including a professional telephone manner
- People skills - ability to liaise with staff/operatives of all levels
- MS Office - Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Effective communicator with strong presentation and report writing skills
- CSCS Safety Professional card
- Able to work as a member of a team, but capable of working alone to tight deadlines as appropriate
- Commitment to Health, Safety & Environment
Desirable experience needed:
- Level 3 AET or PTTLS preferred but not essential
- Working towards NEBOSH Diploma level 6
- Incident investigation - Kelvin TOPSET or equivalent - 1 day training course
