Contract: Long-term contract IR35: Inside IR35 Rate: Negotiable - £40-£50 per hour Umbrella - inside IR35 We are currently recruiting for Electrical Installation Design Engineers to support a long-term programme with Leonardo in Yeovil . We're looking for experienced Electrical Design Engineers with hands-on experience in electrical installation design , ideally within aerospace, defence or another highly regulated engineering environment. Key responsibilities: Design and develop electrical installations and associated engineering documentation. Produce and modify electrical installation designs using CATIA V5 or Siemens NX Electrical Workbench . Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical requirements. Work closely with electrical, mechanical and systems engineering teams. Support design reviews, technical queries and resolution of engineering issues. Key requirements: Strong experience in electrical installation/design engineering . Proficiency in CATIA V5 or Siemens NX Electrical Workbench . Good understanding of electrical installation principles and engineering practices. Ability to interpret and produce technical drawings and documentation. Experience working within a multidisciplinary engineering environment. Aerospace/defence experience would be highly advantageous. This is a long-term contract opportunity with Leonardo in Yeovil , offering 2–3 days per week on site , with a negotiable rate inside IR35 . Interested?
