Unified Communications Solution Lead / Architect – DV Cleared
Contract: 12 months
Rate: £109.25 per hour
IR35 Status: Outside IR35
Security Clearance: Active DV clearance and sole British citizenship required
The Opportunity
We are recruiting for an experienced Unified Communications Solution Lead / Architect to support a defence client on a 12-month contract.
The role will focus on the technical design, integration and delivery of secure Unified Communications solutions, encompassing voice, video conferencing and collaboration technologies.
The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in Unified Communications architecture, with experience producing high-level and low-level designs, leading technical delivery and working closely with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and delivery of Unified Communications solutions.
- Produce and maintain High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs).
- Design solutions involving SIP, VoIP, call routing and telephony integration.
- Support the integration and deployment of voice, video conferencing and collaboration services.
- Act as a key technical point of contact throughout solution delivery.
- Work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout the design and implementation lifecycle.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in Unified Communications solution design or architecture.
- Proven ability to produce technical HLDs and LLDs.
- In-depth knowledge of SIP, VoIP, call routing and telephony integration.
- Experience working with Unified Communications platforms.
- Experience designing, integrating or deploying voice, video conferencing and collaboration services.
- Ability to lead technical delivery and manage technical stakeholder relationships.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Active DV clearance and UK Eyes Only eligibility.
Desirable Experience
- Experience with cross-domain architectures and communications integration across different security domains.
- Experience working in secure or defence-related environments.
- Exposure to multi-vendor Unified Communications solutions.
