Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Solution Architect (ServiceNow) to provide additional architectural capability for a Global Service Delivery (GSD) initiative. The role will focus on assessing and defining the target architecture for key use cases within a Shared Service Centre environment. This is a delivery-focused contract role requiring strong architectural leadership and the ability to engage effectively with business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Assess current-state systems and define target-state architecture for Shared Service Centre use cases
- Lead solution design activities aligned to the Global Service Delivery programme
- Translate business requirements into clear, scalable technical designs
- Produce architecture documentation, design artefacts, and recommendations
- Facilitate design thinking and solution workshops with business and technical stakeholders
- Provide architectural oversight across workflow, asset, and HR platforms
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and best practices
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect in complex enterprise environments
- Strong experience with workflow platforms, particularly ServiceNow
- Exposure to Asset Management platforms (eg IBM Maximo)
- Experience working with HR platforms (eg SAP SuccessFactors)
- Ability to lead design thinking and architectural decision-making
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision
- Experience supporting shared services or global delivery models (desirable)
