About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Associate Technical Director - Electrical Engineering to join a leading international engineering and consultancy organisations Water Design & Engineering team.
This role offers the opportunity to take a leading position in the delivery of electrical engineering solutions across major water and wastewater infrastructure projects throughout the UK.
Working within multidisciplinary teams, you will provide technical leadership, support project delivery and help develop innovative, sustainable solutions for utility and infrastructure clients.
Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of electrical engineering design and advisory services for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations and associated infrastructure.
Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary projects, including Design Lead responsibilities.
Produce, review and approve electrical designs, calculations, specifications and technical reports.
Develop practical and cost-effective engineering solutions aligned with project and client requirements.
Collaborate closely with process, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and ICA teams.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and delivery partners.
Ensure compliance with relevant technical, quality, safety and environmental standards.
Support the development of junior engineers through mentoring and people management responsibilities.
About You Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership.
Strong experience delivering electrical design solutions on complex engineering projects, ideally within the water sector.
Experience working on design and build projects.
Familiarity with modern digital engineering and design tools.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
Proven ability to deliver projects from feasibility and concept stages through to detailed design.
