Morson Edge are working with a leading multidisciplinary consultancy to recruit Architects, Architectural Technologists and Architectural Technicians on a contract basis to support a growing portfolio of projects across defence, industrial and other regulated sectors. We are seeking candidates from mid-level through to senior, associate and director level (up to director level maximum), with strong Revit capability and experience delivering technically complex design work. This is a contract opportunity supporting established project teams working across highly regulated environments, with hybrid working and UK-wide office locations.

Key Requirements

  • Architect, Architectural Technologist or Architectural Technician background
  • Minimum 3–5 years' Revit experience is essential
  • Experience in defence, industrial or regulated sectors preferred
  • Nuclear experience beneficial but not essential
  • Experience working within consultancy or design practice environments
  • Strong technical design, detailing and coordination skills
  • Ability to work within multidisciplinary project teams
  • Must be able to obtain security clearance

Project Experience (Desirable)

  • Defence infrastructure projects
  • Industrial / manufacturing facilities
  • Complex regulated environments
  • Infrastructure or engineering-led schemes
  • Nuclear sector exposure (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver architectural and technical design packages across multiple stages
  • Produce and coordinate Revit models and technical drawings
  • Work closely with MEP, structural and specialist consultants
  • Support coordination of design information across disciplines
  • Contribute to technical problem solving and design development
  • Lead packages or small teams depending on level of experience

Locations & Working Arrangements

Candidates should be within commuting distance of one of the following offices, with 2 days per week in office expected: Westlakes (Whitehaven), Manchester, Warrington, Birmingham, Glasgow.
