Rate: £800 - £850 per day, Inside IR35

Location: City of London - 3 days per week on-site

A leading London Market Insurer based in the City of London is looking for an experienced AI Adoption Consultant to join them on a contract basis for an initial 6 months. This is not a back-room technical build role - it's a business-facing, influence-driven position for someone who can work with senior stakeholders across underwriting, transactions, finance and operations to bring AI adoption to life.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Sitting as a key member of the firms AI Working Group, helping to shape and drive the overall AI agenda.
  • Reviewing the business existing portfolio of AI use cases, validating and prioritising them, and acting as the driving force to push them forward across departments.
  • Supporting AI-driven due diligence on new business transactions and acquisitions - for example, analysing a targets book of business to identify key risk concentrations and inform pricing decisions.
  • Applying similar AI-led risk analysis to the firms existing portfolio to support more accurate, data-driven pricing.
  • Horizon scanning the AI market - reviewing new tools, platforms and approaches and advising the business on whether they’re using the right tools for their needs.
  • Upskilling senior leadership and wider teams on AI, building lasting internal capability and knowledge.

What We're Looking For:

  • Essential: you must come from an Insurance background (London Market, personal/commercial lines, life, health, broking, MGA or similar) - this is a non-negotiable requirement.
  • Experience applying AI to risk, underwriting, pricing or transaction due diligence within Insurance is highly desirable.
  • Confident, credible communicator who can engage and upskill senior leadership and Board-level stakeholders.
  • Strong market awareness - able to evaluate and benchmark AI tools and vendors objectively.
  • Comfortable working autonomously, prioritising across multiple use cases, and operating in a fast-evolving area.
