We are currently looking for an experienced Shuttering Joiner with steel fixing experience to work on a railway station accessibility improvement project in Tuxford, Newark.

The project involves making the station more accessible, including the construction of ramps, walkways, and associated concrete structures, within a live rail environment.

Project Information:

  • Location: Tuxford, Newark
  • Duration: Approximately 2 months
  • Start date: Immediate / ASAP
  • Working hours: Standard site hours (subject to rail requirements)

Scope of Works:

  • Building and installing shuttering and formwork
  • Fixing steel reinforcement to drawings
  • Construction of concrete ramps and walkways
  • Assisting with concrete pours and finishing works
  • Working to drawings, method statements, and site specifications
  • Maintaining high standards of health and safety on site

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Shuttering Joiner
  • Steel fixing experience essential
  • Valid CSCS card required
  • Experience on civil engineering or infrastructure projects preferred
  • Rail experience advantageous but not essential
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable and able to commit for the full project duration
