We are currently looking for an experienced Shuttering Joiner with steel fixing experience to work on a railway station accessibility improvement project in Tuxford, Newark.
The project involves making the station more accessible, including the construction of ramps, walkways, and associated concrete structures, within a live rail environment.
Project Information:
- Location: Tuxford, Newark
- Duration: Approximately 2 months
- Start date: Immediate / ASAP
- Working hours: Standard site hours (subject to rail requirements)
Scope of Works:
- Building and installing shuttering and formwork
- Fixing steel reinforcement to drawings
- Construction of concrete ramps and walkways
- Assisting with concrete pours and finishing works
- Working to drawings, method statements, and site specifications
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety on site
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Shuttering Joiner
- Steel fixing experience essential
- Valid CSCS card required
- Experience on civil engineering or infrastructure projects preferred
- Rail experience advantageous but not essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and able to commit for the full project duration
