Shipping Specialist £37,000 per annum equivalent PAYE 37 per week Cambridge Inside IR35 Morson is recruiting a Shipping Specialist to support our client’s shipping and logistics operations in Cambridge. You will coordinate domestic and international shipments, prepare shipping documentation and work closely with internal teams and freight providers to ensure goods reach their destination efficiently. This is an initial contract opportunity with potential to become permanent. Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate the import and export of parts, materials and cargo in line with company procedures and applicable requirements. • Prepare shipping documentation for domestic and international movements. • Liaise with freight forwarders, couriers and logistics providers to arrange suitable shipping solutions. • Track shipments from collection through to delivery, keeping internal customers informed of progress and any delays. • Work closely with supply and shipping teams to coordinate delivery schedules and manage potential risks. • Assess shipping options against delivery requirements, service and cost. • Maintain accurate, organised shipping records to support traceability and audits. Required Skills & Experience: • Strong administrative skills, with excellent accuracy and attention to detail. • Confident communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external service providers. • Experience entering and maintaining information within business systems, such as ERP software. • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills. • Strong numeracy and literacy skills. • GCSEs in English and Mathematics, or equivalent.
