LV Electrical Installation Electricians with water experience (Desirable) required to assist on a water treatment site in SW London/Surrey. The LV Electrician is responsible for electrical installations, ICA and communications cabling, building services electrics, and all electrical cable management systems in support of the substation project.

Scope of works:

  • Installation, termination, and testing of LV distribution cabling.
  • Installation of Main LV Distribution Switchboards and outgoing circuits.
  • LV supplies to transformers (LV side only), substations, controls, lighting, and ancillary plant.
  • Diversion and modification of existing LV electrical services.

Other Duties: installation of all electrical cable management systems, Earthing and Bonding, Site Services and Ancillary works and Testing and commissioning/decommissioning.

Qualification Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent recognised UK qualification).
  • ECS / JIB Gold Card (Installation Electrician).
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
  • Confined Space Training (as required by site activities).
  • IOSH Working Safely or equivalent H&S awareness.

Desirable / Project Specific:

  • Experience on water utilities, UKPN, DNO, or industrial process sites.
  • LV Authorised Person (LAP / LVAP) status under client rules (advantageous).
  • IPAF / MEWP, PASMA, or similar access qualifications.
