Design & Integration: Lead the development of SCADA system architecture and detailed design for the HS03 HV Package. Ensure seamless integration with other rail systems and compliance with HS2 technical standards.

Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance on SCADA technologies, protocols, and cybersecurity requirements. Support product selection to ensure compatibility and efficient commissioning.

Delivery & Coordination: Collaborate with the Alliance Delivery Team to optimise SCADA design for ease of installation, testing, and commissioning. Drive risk reduction strategies for commissioning and operational phases.

Programme Development: Contribute to the creation of an optimised delivery programme incorporating modern methods of construction and digital engineering principles. Support Initial Value Management (IVM) activities to ensure cost-effective and innovative solutions.

Compliance & Quality: Ensure all SCADA systems meet regulatory, safety, and operational requirements. Maintain documentation and configuration control throughout the project lifecycle.

Risk Reduction: Proactively identify integration risks early in the design phase, leveraging cross-discipline coordination to prevent costly rework and delays.

Technical Expertise: Proven experience in SCADA system design, integration, and commissioning within large-scale infrastructure or rail projects.

Project Delivery Skills: Experience working through the full project lifecycle from design to testing and commissioning. Ability to develop technical documentation, specifications, and compliance reports.

Standards & Regulations: Understanding of railway standards and safety requirements (e.g., EN 50126/8/9).

Soft Skills: Strong stakeholder management, engagement and communication skills across multi-disciplinary teams. Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment. Problem-solving mindset with a focus on risk reduction and operational efficiencies. Experience with high-voltage systems and railway standards.
