The predicted salary is between 50 - 50 £ per hour.
We are seeking a motivated Civil 3D Technician to support project teams in the use of Autodesk Civil 3D for civil engineering elements including drainage, roads, pavements, excavations, and cut and fill activities. The role involves producing project-specific Civil 3D content under the supervision of engineers and working within the project's Common Data Environment (CDE).
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong 3D modelling skills in Autodesk Civil 3D
- Interest in 3D design, modelling, and immersive models
- Ability to produce Civil 3D content under supervision
- Experience working within a Common Data Environment (CDE)
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Ability to work on own initiative and collaboratively within a team
- UK National eligible for SC security clearance
Desirable qualifications include:
- Experience of civil design
- Familiarity with Navisworks and Autodesk ACC
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 and industry modelling standards
- EngTech or similar professional registration
Software/Tools:
- Autodesk Civil 3D
- Navisworks (desirable)
- Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) (desirable)
Certifications & Standards:
- Eligibility for SC security clearance (mandatory)
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 BIM standards (desirable)
