Morson Talent are currently seeking a Project Accountant for our aerospace client based in Semley, Wiltshire. The role will include the duties along with other duties required by the business:
- Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts and financial plans
- Monitor project costs and track performance against budget
- Analyse variances and provide clear explanations
- Produce regular financial reports on project status
- Support project billing and invoicing
- Assist with month end and year end closing related to projects
- Identify financial risks
- Track costs and compare against budget
Skills and experience required:
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting
- Experience with budgeting, cost control and forecasting
- Proficient with Excel and Financial systems
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects
6 month contract initially, 40 hours per week, site based.
