Working Pattern: Hybrid – 3 days per week in the office

The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our well-established construction recruitment division, specialising across the built environment sector. This is a warm desk opportunity with access to established PSL accounts, offering the platform to develop and grow a successful white-collar recruitment desk. This role is ideal for a consultant with experience recruiting across construction, civils, utilities, fit-out, refurbishment, and M&E markets who is comfortable operating in a broad white-collar environment and building long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow a warm desk within the construction and built environment sector
  • Develop existing PSL accounts while generating new business opportunities
  • Recruit across a wide range of white-collar positions, including: Site Supervisors, Project Managers, Contracts Managers, Commercial Managers, Quantity Surveyors and Production & Operational professionals
  • Work with new-build contractors, fit-out specialists, refurbishment contractors, civils and utilities businesses
  • Deliver a consultative recruitment service across permanent vacancies
  • Undertake elements of the full 360 recruitment cycle, including business development, client management, candidate sourcing, and placement delivery
  • Promote and sell the wider capabilities of the business and group to clients and prospects

About You:

  • Proven recruitment experience within construction, civils, utilities, or the wider built environment sector
  • Strong network and ability to bring an existing client and candidate portfolio
  • Experience recruiting white-collar construction professionals
  • Permanent recruitment experience is highly desirable
  • Background working with contractors involved in new build, fit-out, refurbishment, M&E, or civil engineering projects
  • Utilities and water industry recruitment experience would be particularly advantageous
  • Commercially minded with a proactive approach to business development
  • Comfortable managing a varied desk and recruiting across multiple disciplines rather than specialising in a single niche
