A great opportunity has arisen within the Place for London Asset Management team for an experienced Senior Property Surveyor to join a diverse and inclusive workforce on a contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the business and support the day-to-day running of the Asset Management function.

You will oversee a varied and high-profile property portfolio, delivering a broad range of professional property services. The role spans traditional landlord and tenant responsibilities alongside more strategic asset management work, helping to influence the long-term performance and direction of the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing and overseeing professional property matters across a diverse asset portfolio
  • Leading lease renewals, rent reviews, and rental negotiations
  • Providing asset management advice to maximise income and asset value
  • Supporting strategic initiatives and longer-term asset management objectives
  • Liaising with internal teams, external consultants, and key stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with best practice, governance, and professional standards
  • Contributing to the growth and performance of the Asset Management team
Key Requirements:
  • Chartered Property Surveyor (MRICS or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience
  • Strong experience in professional property work, including lease renewals and rent reviews
  • Proven asset management background
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
