Morson have a great opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer from a Local Government setting. Your role is to provide infrastructure support and guidance to project staff across the council and to help ensure successful technical delivery. You will play a key role in the contribution of the council Infrastructure on-prem hosting to the cloud. Your role will be to support and lead the organisation in the use of cloud infrastructure and platform services. You will contribute to the design, configuration, and management of both on-premises IT infrastructure and cloud-based services. You will be responsible for the installation and testing of new versions of infrastructure hardware, software, and firmware.

Key Tech skill areas required:

  • Advanced knowledge of enterprise infrastructure components (Microsoft DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Active Directory Federation, Public Key Infrastructures, Virtual Private Networks etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of disaster recovery and backup solutions for on-premise and cloud deployments
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems, virtualised platforms
