We have excellent opportunities for Senior Civil / Structural BIM Technicians based in Glasgow. Candidates are required to be sole UK Nationals and able and willing to obtain BPSS level security clearance. This can be office based, remote or hybrid.
Our Client Team is experiencing exciting growth and long-term prospects within their established practice, and they are now looking for experienced Civil / Structural BIM Technicians to join their multi-discipline technical delivery capability.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Projects include developing solutions through all stages in highly regulated environments, in support of air, land and sea defence establishments, the UK nuclear submarine fleet, and both existing and new build nuclear bases. The ideal Candidate will preferably have experience of working in the maritime, nuclear and/or defence industries, but also those with relevant industrial design experience looking to work in a technically challenging environment.
IDEAL CANDIDATES
- Fluent in Revit, Auto-Cad and Navis Works
- Ability to produce 3D CAD information in a BIM environment
- Production of 2D drawings (layouts, arrangements, sections, elevations etc.) from the 3D model
- Work with project teams to capture design requirements
