The predicted salary is between 93600 - 117600 £ per year.
Due to the increase in workload, TDA require an experienced Mechanical Site Engineer based 4 days full time on Sellafield site. The role will be site facing and support the Construction Delivery Team on various projects, reporting to the Lead Site Engineer.
Candidates can start with BPSS security clearance whilst higher level clearance is being undertaken. You should be British Citizens and passport holders and not have worked outside the UK during the past 5 years. This is a contract role INSIDE IR35 between £45-£55ph.
ROLE DESCRIPTION- Provide LFE and Knowledge of plant constraints throughout the delivery process.
- Pre-approve TQ's to allow site works to continue.
- Produce NFR/Feasibility justifying design decision.
- Offer technical advice on the construction site for subcontractors, craftspeople and operatives, as well as feeding information back to the design team.
- Manage the site and parts of construction projects.
- Rad capability (Ferrus Scanning & Pull Testing) - Not Essential.
- Assist in sign off against the construction order.
- Oversee building work and ensure the quality of the work.
- Set out, level and survey the site.
- Ensure plans, drawings and quantities are accurate for calculations.
- Manage the design documents (drawings/specs) supplied by the client are met and installed correctly on site.
- Manage the configuration control of engineering deliverables and site works.
- Liaise with SL designers to ensure compliance with design & construction regulations.
- Report progress and other updates back to the client.
- Plan the work efficiently and adapt to any setbacks or difficulties.
- Proficient use of AutoCAD, Navisworks & 3D scanning software to enable transfer of data from site to the design team.
- Provide input and site-based knowledge for Design and Constructability Reviews.
- Academic qualifications, HNC/HND.
- Mech Plant knowledge.
- FGMSP inducted.
- PFSP Inducted.
- C3 trained.
- Respirator & PVC trained.
- Sufficient use of CIMAGE on SL System.
